I am considering accepting a diplomat as a tenant. But I am worried about their legal status should they default or transgress.
- if they stop paying rent, how do we enforce the tenancy agreement.
- If we serve notice and they do not move out is there any legal recourse for us to get them out

From the research I have done, letting to embassy staff seems to be on a wing and a prayer. If the embassy decides to disregard the tenancy agreement then the usual channels for claiming rent arrears and evicting them are ineffective. Is this an accurate view?
