Private Residance Relief of Stamp Duty
I own and rent out 7 properties in addition to my main Residance . I intend to sell my home (I have lived here for 10 years), purchase a new one and live in it as my main Residance. Will I be subjected to the punishing 4% stamp duty charge on the purchase or can I claim a relief?
