Continue HMO question
I would like to keep the tenants as they are, but as the HMO licence has specified that I cannot let the small bedroom, and this entails 5 sharing the kitchen and no split making it for 3 only. Following on if I was to give notice to quit to the occupant of the small room (who has been in the room over 3 years) , but she does not leave. Would I be held responsible for failing to comply. would I be forced to take her to court to gain posesion? While she is paying her rent I would feel that it was unreasonable for many reasons to take action against her.
