Letting Agent hasn't protected Tenant Deposit
The agent brought in these new tenants but there are disputes between him and the previous tenants (deposit money), and the new tenants (deposit money and a long list of other things).
I have asked the agent for a copy of the tenancy deposit certificate covering the new tenant, but so far he cannot produce it, and I suspect that he hasn't done it.
Where do I stand as landlord if the new tenant pursues this (I think they can claim three times the deposit amount if the agent hasn't protected the deposit in one of the schemes)?
