Is there a legal definition of 'reasonable notice' regarding viewings, maintenance visits, etc, as I can't find one - we have a tenant asking for 24 hours notice as that is what their Student Body has advised them. I know that 24 hours has become a bit of an industry standard, but is it a legally enforced period?

We are currently trying to let HMO properties. We have told the tenant that, whenever possible, we will give notice, but have explained that this is not always possible, as agents can have viewers turning up at short notice.
