Hi everyone.

We have been RLA members for a few months now, but just kind of lurked on the sight and read the post's for a long time.

We own a few properties in Yorkshire. But have a lot to learn about being a landlord.

I have recently had a friend buy a house and while he was tring to get a gas safety certificate for the place. He was told that the hob was too close to a window and he wold have to replace it for an electric hob

It's not something I've every heard about before. Does anyone have any information about this?

Where would I find the legal requirements on distance from the window?

-any help would be greatly appreciated

Kind regards

Wayne
