My rental property in my name. I am on higher income tax rate, while my wife does not have any income. Is there any provision whereby I am make my wife the beneficiary of the rental income so that I do not have to pay tax on the rental income.
Additionally, last 3 years I was making a loss on my rental property. Is there any provision for recouping my past years' losses from this year's profit?
Any advice/pointers is much appreciated.
