Notice from tenant who then does not leave.
If I receive notice from a tenant to end a periodic tenancy, and I acknowledge receipt what is my position if the tenant then does not give up possession after the notice has expired?
Am I simply at "square one" and a section 21 notice will be used, or can I apply to the courts immediately on the basis the tenant has served notice?
Particular reference to joint and several tenancies where one member of the tenant group gives notice and another member fails to give up possession.
