Our tenant with arrears of £3500 has said today that she has been to CAB and they have advised her that she can only afford to pay £5.00 a week over what she should pay. There is currently approx £150 difference between Housing Benefit and rent. Her HB payments have varied from £360 a month at the beginning to £26 a month since approx August and are now going back up to £307.92 from 22January. The only change I can see is that she has one extra child now.
However my question is can I get a CCj before she gets a DRO debt reduction order
After the order is made she has told me I won't be able to get anything as the debt will be written off.
Any Ideas would be much appreciated..
