So for the last few months I've been making the improvements to meet the EPC requirements. Have tried for a grant (Loft insulation) but that was verbally refused as the property has solid walls. Since then I've been funding the materials and small amounts of labour out of rent.
I have detailed records of what I've spent but will most (if not all) the costs involved be tax deductable? I know the best information will be from my accountant but I'd like to get a feel for the sunject before tax year end.
