I own three properties in Leeds converted into self contained flats. One of three, one of four, one of six. They are all old conversions, dating from the 80's, fully compliant with fire regulations but not all of current building regs(if one was converted now).
I'm confused or being thick, forgive me its been a long day, but will these now require an HMO licence from the 1st october?
They are obviously three storeys or more and some five plus unrelated occupants. Its occurred to me i'll need a licence margin if so on each property, as single occupants may become couples on tenant changeover.....ie; the block of three flats with three occupants could be three couples and therefore six occupants.
Any comments much appreciated.
