Supporting tenants energy bill
How much support should I be giving to tenants who are complaining about the size of their heating bill?
They are the 3rd tenants we've had at this address, and the previous two had no problems. There are instructions for the thermostat in their information folder and they are free to change their supplier at will.
They've requested my permission to install a smart meter - which I see no problem with.
But they seem to want me to go round and advise them on what they should do. I feel like this is putting myself as being responsible for their decisions, and I'm not comfortable with that. I want to provide support without having to hold their hands and make decisions for them.
