About to do an AST for a charity
Hi Fellow Landlords
I winder if anyone can advise the best way to proceed with this one.
i have a church who have a part time vicar, who they want to get a flat for, I cant do a company let, as its a charity, I use Rentshield for checks etc.
The vicar doesnt want the AST in his name as the church are providing the accommodation.
I was going to put it in the name of the church and get the Secretary to sign the AST, the problem being he will not be the tenant.
will that be legal ?
