TDS and ADR
Hello. I am currently going through trying to get my deposit back fro tenants that have caused damage and incurred court fees to my property through an eviction order. I have just found out that they do not consent to Alternative Dispute Resolution, which quite honestly I thought they had to if they signed up to a TDS.
Could you explain the point of having a deposit in a scheme that seems to allow this non-consent? Also what are my options. I believe I have the option of going to court but I am unsure whether this will incur too many further costs. Are there other options?
