We have had a tenant in a house for about 7 months now. Before she moved in we completely redecorated the house and cleaned it top to bottom and put good any damage caused by the previous tenant. Since moving in the tenant was offered us a second hand kitchen given to her by a friend for free if we paid for the fitting. We declined the offer as the current kitchen is fine and that kitchen wouldn't actually fit ours. Since then she has called complaining of a kitchen draw that broke, we replaced that drawer with a new back but keeping the original front. She pointed out that the repair wouldn't have been neccessary if we had fitted the new kitchen she wanted. Now two weeks later she says a cupboard door has completly fallen off, and three others are now loose. This just doesn't make sense as all of the cupboard doors were perfectly fine when we let the house out to her. Could you advise as to who is actually responsible for repairs to kitchen cupboards as I am becoming rather dubious as to how they are suddenly falling off in the first place?
