Hi,

I recently got court possession of a rented property. I had a written reference from the tenant's employer stating the person was on "monthly payroll" and stating his annual salary. I did an attachment of earnings which was returned by the same employer to the court saying he only ever worked for them as a self employed contractor.

Both letters to me and the court have identical signatures by the company director. It is clear hat the employer lied to help his employee get the lease. I am 2700 down and I am therefore wondering what the prospect would be of suing the employer for some of my losses through the small claims court.

Thanks, David
