Joint tenancy deposit
I will be setting up a new joint tenancy agreement with unrelated professional sharers. Deposit relating to the current agreement is held with DPS Custodial scheme. Existing tenant will remain the lead tenant. Please explain:
a) How 50% of deposit should be returned from scheme to previous tenant (who was not the lead tenant)?
b) How 50% of deposit should be paid into scheme by new tenant?
I have received conflicting advice!
