VALIDITY OF NTQ FOR NONE ASSURED SHORTHOLD TENANCY
We have a Lease with a Local Council, who let the property as temporary accommodation and, therefore, their Agreement with the Tenant is on a weekly basis and non assured. However, we are responsible for eviction proceedings.
We issued an NTQ nearly a year ago, but need to know how long it is valid for and do we need to issue a new one. We are aware of timescale for S8 and S21 Notices, but do not know the rules with regard to expiry of an NTQ. We would usually have evicted by now, so have not had this question arise before.
