Next door is complaining gas flue is too close to their window
18 months ago I had a new combi boiler replacing the old one in exactly the same place with flue not moved. The flue has been in the same positon for well over 20 years.
Next door is now claiming that carbon dioxide is going into their property when they open their window. Tomorrow I am going to measure if flue is more than 300mm away from their window.
I presume the large company that fitted the boiler had to give it a pass cert? However I have two gas pass certs April 2017 and 2018.
If the boiler company have not fitted the new flue far enough away from an open window, I presume they are in the wrong and have to correct it?
I presume if the flue is the correct distance from a window, I am covered legally?
Any advice appreciated, technical or legal.
