Future Renting Conference
I've created this thread about our Future Renting Conference. Our next conference is in Manchester next Tuesday (24th April). This is part of our national conference programme bringing together sector experts, landlords, politicians and letting agents to discuss issues affecting the sector.
At our Manchester conference, you can hear from Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Greater Manchester on his plans for the private rented sector in the North. There will also be a range of speakers sharing their insights into the market and legislative changes. You'll be able to ask David Smith (RLA Policy Director) and Kate Faulkner (Property Expert) questions on some of the most pressing changes, and listen to representatives of Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service on the work being done post-grenfell for fire safety and renting.
I'll also be presenting and sharing an update on our recent research findings and some of the latest market insights.
You can find out more here: https://www.rla.org.uk/conference/future-renting-north/
But we also want to create a discussion around what you think are the most pressing issues and to create a place for discussion through-out and after the conference. So please, share your thoughts, ideas and issues and lets work together to make renting better for all.
Some inital questions are:
What do you think about the current buy-to-let market in the North?
What are the most pressing issues for you as a landlord?
What campaign would you like the RLA to focus on?
