Purchasing new lease

I own a leasehold flat which I let on AST. The current lease has 77 years left to run and I have recently requested a quote from the freeholders for lease renewal. They would want 19k plus legal fees to extend the lease to 150 years.
My question is...should I be worrying about having to pay this sum - or more - at some point? I am single and have no dependants and would be looking to keep the flat long term to provide an income in my retirement. Should I just let the lease carry on ticking away and let someone else worry about all of that when I am gone?? Can lease prices be negotiated?
