Tenant who absconds prior to end of tenancy agreement
An ex-tenant of mine moved out in December but signed an AST committing them to the following June.
I found a new tenant in March but at a lower rent, and am about to issue a claim against them - can I claim for March, April and May even though I found a new tenant?
If not, can I claim for the decrease in rent that I've suffered as a result? it's only another £50 per month but £150 would go some way towards all the work and hassle.
