One occupant hasn't signed the tenancy agreement
I have a signed AST for a flat dated September 2017, and one of the four occupants of the flat never signed the AST. She had signed the previous AST dated December 2016 but I forgot to chase her to sign the latest agreement after the others did.
She now wishes to leave, and the others want to stay, so I will establish a new AST for the occupants staying and her replacement.
What I'm not clear on is what sort of notice does she need to provide as I assume that she is not required to adhere to the current AST? As she is the only occupant leaving is she potentially liable for her portion of the rent, or will the remaining occupants be liable for this?
