I keep reading the quote “Your tenancy agreements must include suitable data protection clauses” but I can’t find any too add!
The RLA have a big section on this, but the advise seems to be that I have to give my tenants a “catch all, cover all”, 30 page document. I can’t believe that is necessary for a typical Landlord who is only holding basic information on his/her tenant for the term of the Tenancy.
There must be a suitably worded clause that can be added to my Tenancies, by which my Tenant is giving me, the Landlord the right to hold relivant Data?

What is everyone else doing ? Giving out 30 page documenets!
