Leaving Inspection - Damages
We purchased 2 new American-style fridge freezers for a HMO this year, and the tenants have damaged both, by kicking all along the bottom of both.
They are still usuable for the next tenants, but look very unsightly
Questions - can we charge the outgoing tenants for the full replacement cost of the appliances, or just the cost of the replacement panels?
Also, do we actually have to buy the replacement/parts for us to make a charge to the tenants?
