Infestation of crickets causing a nuisance
The tenants in the upstairs maisonette keep reptiles (animals are not permitted in the lease) and feed them live crickets. The crickets have escaped and multiplied causing a noise nuisance for our tenants day and night. Our tenants have serious health issues and have complained that the noise and anxiety is harming their wellbeing as well as the quiet enjoyment of their flat. The Freehold landlord is not responding to us or our solicitor, requesting that the no pet clause be acted upon and that the upstairs flat fumigates to resolve the issue with the crickets. Where do we go from here as the tenants feel they are being hounded out of their home and our investment will be devalued if we cannot let it? Thank you
