Advice for acting on someone else's behalf
Hi. I have only been acting as a landlord for a short time. My in-laws have a property and have asked me to act on their behalf, setting up the tenancy agreement, sorting the deposit and doing all other paperwork. Is that something that I am covered by the RLA to do? Am I legally permitted to act on someone else's behalf? If so, how do I log that that is what I am doing? Would I need to call myself an 'agent'?
