Tenancy Agreement of RLA
I would like to point out 3 clauses in RLA tenancy agreement April 2018 edition:
1) Clause A5 says that 'no children' are allowed to live in the property without permission.
Question: What if there is only 1 child?
2) Clause A6 says that 'no animal' are allowed without permission.
Question: What if there is only 1 animal?
3) Clause C2 says, 'anything which may be a nuisance or annoyance to us and neighbours'.
This is an unfair clause as the scope is too general. In a recent case, Camden council could not rely on a similar clause against a tenant.
