Minimum Safety Requirements for Small HMO (Licensable from 01/10/18)

Dear Advice Team,
I have a small, traditional 3-bed terraced house (think "Corrie") in Manchester which - under new legislation - I will be obliged to register as an HMO and obtain a landlord licence for, from 01/10/18.
I am struggling to find an "official", comprehensive and up-to-date list of electrical/ fire/ general safety requirements in order to achieve registration. (Eg how many smoke alarms and should they be interlinked, what doors need to be uprated to fire standard, do I need fire blankets and extinguishers for the kitchen etc? etc?)
Could you assist?
Could any members share details of any specialist firms in Manchester?
Many thanks.
