i have just renewed my hmo licence, and the housing officer told me i should remove fire extinguishers from flats and communal area's.
i have just leased 1 of the flats to a housing company for three years and they have told me i have to have fire extingushers.
who is right? if i supply extinguishers and somebody gets hurt fighting the fire rather than get out of the building i'm liable.
if i don't supply extinguishers the housing company say they need proof they are not needed.
regards
martin
