Licence agreement v Tenancy agreement
Hi, a friend recently asked me to check a rental agreement that her daughter had been asked to sign, relating to 1 room (shared facilities) in a 4 room house (London), and it was a Licence Agreement.
Is there any particular reason for this, any advantages/disadvantages for the Landlord - I understand that a tenant has more protection under a Tenancy agreement, but am not sure of the other parties.
