We purchased a property in 2001 and have let it to a range of tenants since this date. The property is attached to a Council house and the coucnil tenant in this property has complained about every tenant we have had, we have also found out that she did this to the previous owners. Her normal complaint is about noise, most times these have been unfounded. Now she has reported the property as being over crowded which has been investigated by the environmental health and found to be untrue. This morning a tenant came to us as he had had Social Services attend the property stating that they had concerns for the wealthfare of his 3 year old child as a 'neighbour' had reported the child being unkept and allowed to play in a garden that is unsecure and full of broken glass - this were unfounded and Social Service left the premises very happy. What, if anything, can we do about the council tenant as she is constantly making our tenants lives a misery. we have concerns that there may also be racist issues here as our tenants are Polish. Any advice would be great.
