Non payment of rent
Hi there I just wanted to check the first cause of action for a tenant that is now 2 months in arrears. The universal credit is going straight to him and I have only had £50 out of £720 owed. He has a support worker that I communicate with... but it isn't progressing and he has mental health issues... He has not been sleeping at the property for a week or so ..saying he is been threatened by another tenant (I don't know what is true or fantasy as they were best friends).
I have a deposit bond from the council ..which they are dragging their heels in furnishing me with a paper copy - so have no funds to use against the lack of rent. What would be the first step to addressing the matter and formally requesting his end of tenancy. Thanks
