Hi.

I am a private Service provider and in the process of starting a supported residential service for people in South London (Croydon, Purley) who have a mental illness.
The house will be providing support for a maximum of 6-8 people, each will have their own tenancy agreement.
There will be no self-contained units, it will be just bedrooms rented out with a communal kitchen and bathrooms.
Would I need a HMO licence for this particular project?
Is there a cutoff point for bedrooms numbers where I would not need a HMO Licence?
If so how many bedrooms?

Thank you,
Gregg Wright
