How many tenants should I have on the tenancy agreement
For the past four years I have had very good tenants in the property and they are moving out tomorrow and another set of tenants (4 in number)are due to move in.
However one of the guys due to move out tomorrow has just phoned to ask if he can stay on because his agent has told him that he cannot now move into his new rental property due to unforeen problems
The guys moving into my house are happy for him to stay but that would then mean 5 people renting the house and I am worried it might then be regarded as HMO requiring a licence because of the cellar
Your advice would be greatly appreciated
