Giving a reference for tenant to future landlord
We had a call from a referencing agency asking for us (the landlords) to give our tenant who moves out in October a reference. What's the best way to do this so as not to be liable - after all if the tenant has been paying on time and otherwise a good tenant it doesn't mean to say that they will behave like that in the future - so can we as landlords giving the reference be held liable in the future by the next landlord? Just being cautious. Advice appreciated. Thank you
