Enquiry regarding length of notice on a tenancy
1) Kindly advise if it is possible to write into a new Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement that after the initial term (in my case one year) that both the Tenant and Landlord are required to give two months notice rather than the usual one month. If not possible please confirm that one month is then mandatory under the Act?
2) I have recently placed in the names of my three adult children a flat from which the one third rental income will be a marginally less than £2,000 each. Am I correct in my assumption that there is no requirement to declare individual rental income under this figure?
