Tenant Dismay - Smart Meter Letter
My tenant emailed me in distress about a letter requesting access to change the gas meter, claiming immediate action is necessary. She forwarded me the letter, and I can see why her distress has been triggered. The letter claims that the gas meter needs immediate replacement, with a smart meter. I have done what I can to reassure my tenant about gas safety in the property (which is well maintained). Can you advise whether these circulars have been received by other Landlords, and best course of action Please? Many thanks
