We are about to issue a notice 13 (2) to Assured Tenants (the've occupied since 1994), who's last tenancy agreement was for 12 months beginning on 1 Sept 2006. It wasn't renewed on 1/9/07 so I believe it is now become a statutory periodic tenancy??

We would be grateful if you could confirm what date we can put as the starting date of the new rent. We are confused as to whether we have to give 6 months or just 1 months notice?

Any advice would be appreciated.
