PROBLEM LETTING AGENT
I have a problem with an agent who took complete control of collecting rents and paying mortgages about a year ago. They have now refused to pass over rents collected and pay the mortgages. This is due to an alleged cumulative deficit on the account caused by repairs and other bills on the properties. Can they legally do this when there is an agreement to pay the deficit out of the equity on property which is up for sale.
