I will make it very short. The tenant paid £3000.00 deposit to the estate agents. They registered the deposit. The agent now have gone out of business. Apparently there was an insurance policy that premiums were not kept up to date. The tenant has got the certificate and the number. The tenant's solicitors advised the tenant that if you cannot recover your money from the agent, go after the Landlord. Kindly tell me what the remedy is.
