Fire Alarms & Carbon Monoxide Alarms
Hello i have a problem with a tenant who besides other things is claiming i haven't installed fire alarms or carbon monoxide alarms at my property.
They were both in place prior to the tenancy commencing now they have been removed.
I sent them a letter regarding general maintenance and a request to complete the gas cert as they were being difficult to contact. When i finally managed to gain entrance they were missing so I replaced them. They took a video of me installing them, now they are saying they weren't in place prior to tenancy hence say i have broke the law and the section 21 i severed them isn't legal.
Is this true?
