Hi, my tenant has been in my rental property for over 4 years, I had to have a new agreement put in place last year as her partner had to move out into care home accommodation and so she became the sole tenant; the letting Agent has now written to me at the anniversary of the Agreement saying my option is to extend the tenancy for a further term with or without a break clause or end the tenancy....I was thinking I'd just have it rolling over so I'd have to serve 2 months notice or the tenant could serve 1 month. I don't think she wants to move out and I am happy with her staying (I have a fixed mortgage and do not envisage selling up or increasing the rent) do you think it is reasonable to do this or should I pay for another Agreement ?
