I have a tenant who is always struggling to pay rent. I have a tenancy agreement dated 22/11/07 and a section 21 which expired after 21/5/08. I would like to write to him to ask him to leave ie enforce the section 21? How much notice do I have to give him bearing in mind section 21 expired in May? Also, since he is not communicating with me at present and is currently 2 weeks overdue in rent (and has no deposit) what is my next step with the court if things get to that?
