I have good tenants in London and we are both happy to carry on a rolling tenancy agreement but my managing agents have a strict policy whereby no matter how long the tenants are there - they will always be able to charge their fee, although they don't actually manage the property. Any queries the tenants come straight to me. There is no increase in rent and all they do is produce a new AST each year (which I would prefer not to). This seems common practice in London and in other cities I only pay a tenants find fee. Is there a way to get out of this agreement without getting rid of my tenants?
