I made arrangements with my tenants where we both agreed a mutually acceptable date and time for a service engineer to attend.
There was a call out charge associated with the visit so I made doubly sure to confirm the appointment with my tenant and also sent a reminder the day before, which I know was received.
You guessed it .. the engineer turned up and no one was there.
Now I have a nice bill for the call out ... so who is responsible for this?
I suppose there are genuine reasons why this could happen, but a call would have been nice. I suspect the buck stops with me?
