EPC's - Legislation
I have a tenant leaving a property at the end of October. I have arranged for an EPC immediately after they vacate the property.
My letting agent has said that it is 'illegal' for him to market the property, or show any prospective tenants around unless he has a valid EPC from today's date.
I assumed I would not need an EPC until end of the month and before the new tenant moves in.
I suspect, in hindsight, that my agent is correct - can you confirm?
