Renting back to the seller.
I currently own a flat and a half share of the freehold. I am in the process of purchasing the other flat in the block and the other share of the freehold.
I get on well with the seller and he is looking to purchase something outside London. He has asked me if he can stay on as a tenant for a couple of months and pay rent.
I understand that he has to move out before completion but is it ok if I start a tenancy immediately after completion?
It would suit me as I need time to organise works that are needed on the property.
