New License Required???
I recently changed my company name and bought out my JV partner at the same time that a license was issued for our (now my) HMO.
The council say that I need to reapply and pay all the fees again for a new license? Part 2 of the license fee was paid after the change at companies house. I have explained to the council that its the same registered company, bank account, address etc but they insist that I pay both parts of the fee again. Has anyone had this happen to them? or does anyone know if and how I can contest this with the council as it seems so unfair to be paying the fee twice?
