I have inherited a house and have a potential tenant who I will offer an ASTA too, using your template. The rent will be £1,200 per calendar month.
Are you able to suggest the size the deposit should be? The planned tenant is known to me personally and has an 11 year good record with the existing landlord who I know.
Also I understand it is necessary to use a government-approved tenancy deposit scheme. Are you able to advise me which is the easiest, simplest scheme to use?
Finally, there is not much left in the house in the way of contents but we are leaving a good TV, Fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker, old dining room table and chairs and a few other items that are not valuable. Do you feel it is important to get a professional inventory clerk?
Thanks so much.
